As the weather warms up, we here at Miller Bridal are reminded of what we love best. Evenings filled with fun and joy. We are now getting all of our ‘June Brides’ ready to go and have many request for even earlier weddings. Its lovely to imagine what plans some women have for their wedding. Walking on the beach, or singing their favorite hymn in their hometown church.
So what is in right now? Here’s the dish.
Kate Middleton is now Her Royal Highness, and while she stuck to a more conservative look we have seen an increase in Tiara sales.
Speaking of conservative, lace is a popular embellishment right now. Like Kate’s dress, its usually used to cover areas conservatively with a bit of a flirty side to them. Not too revealing it almost works as a jacket on the dress. Lace can also be used to make a more modern style look vintage.
Prom has been and gone, however the style remains. Thanks to pop culture icons Lady Gaga and Ke$ha, glitter and rhinestones have a fierce style bite. Flashy works for the younger age and is done well with costume jewelery and animal prints.
Girls its the most important question for any accessory, Pearls or Gems? Right now it seems that pearl has a more elegant feel to it and is being favored for now, however as always neither really seem to fall out of style. If you love color pearl can be substituted with beads, especially since they come in such a wide assortment of colors and gloss.
All women want their wedding to be memorable, and many have chosen the day 9/10/11. If you are considering the special day for a wedding be quick about it! Many places are already full and many have come to us telling us they can’t find a hall.
Looking for a dress that will make your mother proud, but don’t want it to stop your fun during your reception? Wewill be recieving wedding dresses that zip off at the bottom to become a short cocktail lenght. If we do say so ourself, they are very pretty and very useful.
We also have some new shoes in store now and we started doing business with a new shoe supplier. Remember that if it comes in a dyeable satin we can match it to just about any color. Perfect for a wedding theme or group event.
